Challenge
This multi-disciplinary project required brand storytelling through tactile product design, high-impact visuals, and digital engagement strategies that resonated with both loyal OMNIA users and Marilyn Monroe fans nationwide.

Goals
- Create a product for a national sales market that maintains the integrity of both brands.

- Impactful assets that harmoniously integrate across web, social, email, and print.
- Design materials to promote sales and boost engagement for a two year period. 
Product Design
Designing the product meant infusing Marilyn’s classic glamour into the very form of the brushes and packaging. 
These elements were chosen to echo Marilyn’s signature look (her platinum hair, love of gold jewelry, and iconic white dresses) in a subtle, tactile way.
Package Design
 Designing a bespoke zippered carrying case and an elegant collector’s box was important to extend the glamour of the product into the unboxing experience. The carrying case is a showpiece on its own – made of plush faux-velvet in a soft platinum-blonde hue to match the brush bristles, accented with a gold metal zipper. Unzipping it reveals a bold, red vinyl interior reminiscent of Marilyn’s signature red lipstick shade.
 The outer box – a “classy collector’s box” – was designed for visual impact and safekeeping. It is wrapped in textured deep red paper, giving a luxurious feel to the touch, and emblazoned with gold-embossed logos. The box uses a hidden magnetic clasp closure, which not only provides a satisfying snap when opening and closing, but also speaks to the premium quality of the set.
